Many of our clients say they are greatly impressed with our product, price and service. Product because we build our homes using the "Universal Design" building technique. Pricing per square foot compared to our competivie market analysis offers a great value per square foot. And lastly, Service - our Sales, Construction and Lending team - work closely with you to insure you are provided with superior customer service that you will feel comfortable telling others about.

This apt. complex is over 40 years old; entire bathrooms need replacing, including the wallpaper from 1967; apts. aren't redone/updated with 21st century appliances, carpet, etc., until someone moves out, and then it is done in order to get new tenants. But if you still live in the apt. and need new flooring or a bathroom that isn't from 1967, "we don't have it in the budget to do this month." Manager staff is moody and not that nice, maintenance person changes frequently and not the highest quality (they are instructed to replace needed parts with old ones from from vacant apts.), hallways look like an old, bad motel 6, etc. etc.
*****  The Tahitian is hell on Earth

The Tahitian apartment complex in Isla Vista is a horrible place to try to make your home.

Every day, there are idiot kids outside screaming, talking, singing, chanting, skateboarding, slamming gates and doors, canonballing in the pool, and just generally making WAY more noise than neccessary. They are rude, vulgar, and don't comply with any noise warnings, even from our manager and the police.

People's cars get backed into, knocked into by drunk kids, and otherwise damaged all the time. Lately, we've been finding spiders, moths, flies, etc. in our apartment all the time. We've also had quite a problem with ants lately, even though we are very clean and keep food out of the open in our kitchen.

The owners, an elusive company named Manakara LLC, has absolutely no regard for tenants rights. All they care about is making money.

DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE, OR IN ANY OTHER BUILDING OWNED BY MANAKARA, LLC. YOU WILL BE MISERABLE AND DISRESPECTED.

I contacted this complex before investigating, the appearance and pricing is fair for Huntsville. Although, I have had some rental problems, I disclosed all and asked if they were okay with a co-signer. My co-signer was perfect, unfortunately the rumours and reports of discrimination and racism hit me. I was asked to pay two application fees, which was not a problem as I was solely depending on my co-signer (who is more than qualified, near millionare; no joke) I was given the run around and was forced to stop payment on my checks (once I overcame one hurdle, requested address, requested financial statements, birthdate, contact information for properties once resided at) My understanding was the purpose of paying the fees was so they researched your credit. To end all I was told a most fabulous lie about his birthdate red flaging, she called him at his business and he gave her all his information and had his accountant fax any information needed. Yet they kept putting me off with excuses as to why a decision had not been made concerning my application, again with a more than qualified co-signer. I feel that it solely has to do with my skin color and have read so many reviews about the property concerning discrimination, after the fact. Please inform as many people as you can, they can not continue to abuse prospective tenants in this manner.
*****  DONT MOVE HERE

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND IT WAS THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE. THERE ARE SHOOTINGS AT THE APT. THEY DON'T FIX THINGS! IT TOOK A YEAR TO GET MY SINK FIXED. I'VE HAD THERE MAINTANANCE STEAL FROM MY APT. THERE OFFICE STAFF WILL LIE TO YOU JUST TO GET YOU OFF THE PHONE AND THEY NEVER RESOLVE ANYTHING. I HAVE NOT GONE A FULL MONTH WITH EVERYTHING WORKING. WITH SUMMER SETTING IN MY AIR CONDITIONER IS BROKE AND NOT WORKING AND I HAVE CALLED EVERY DAY AND GET A DIFFERENT EXCUSE ON WHY THEY CAN NOT COME FIX IT TODAY. IM JUST GIVING YOU ALL A HEADS UP. DON'T MOVE THERE!!

This apartment deserves that everyone who resides in it to write the best that he/she could write. I have stayed here for almost seven years. A nice, quiet and safe location and neighborhood. A few steps to shopping areas, restaurants, pharmacies and food stores. Maintenance is good, and fixing maintenance problems is always asap; a few minutes after reporting. There is a great care about security and cleanness. The management is a group of angels. When need help you feel you are among your family. I remember how a friend was crying when she was saying good bye to them upon her moving. This is incredible but it is true. I am leaving this apartment only because I am moving to another city. If I wasn’t I wouldn’t move.
