Unsafe and Rude Staff

I am a current tenant and can't wait for my lease to end. There was a recent stabbing leaving another tenant in critical condition. There have been several apartment/car break-ins and the staff shows no interest in calming the residents. They make it perfectly clear that they have no responsibilities anywhere on the property and that the responsibility lies on the resident to report to the police and go to court when needed. They have also informed me that they hold no responsibility in repremanding other tenants for their behavior on their property stating it is a condominium even though they rent apartments. This way they can sit around and do nothing to protect others. There is a security guard that rides around on a golf cart but spends most of his time parked with ladies chit chatting and very little time trying to make us feel safer.
I do not recommend this place for anyone, especially those with families as you will not feel safe enough to let your kids out the door.
I would have rated this place at a 1 but it is probably better than a few in Tampa...

Mostly very low class renters

If I were you people, I wouldn't allow Belaire Boca to advertise on your site. Through no fault of their own, property management cannot control the disgusting people who live here, mainly the trash who rent here...the teenagers in particular. They think it's hilarious to unrinate anywhere they feel like. Just a little while ago, I got into one of the elevators and there was a HUGE puddle of urine on the elevator floor, as well as the walls. When I arrived on the lobby level, these scumbag kids, were just attempting to the same in the other elevator, but since I was walking out, they all took off and ran down to the side entrance. This NOTHING compared to all the other filthy and disgusting things that have gone on here. It's a losing battle, and I cannot wait to move out this dump. You have no idea what else has gone on since I've been living here for over 1 1/2 years. Thank God, I didn't buy one of these units. As soon as I can, I am out of here...it's a pigsty. There's dogshit everywhere.

They stole my money

I am not a current resident of this property, I was at one time applying to live here. From the pictures of the newly remodled condos for lease anyone could be suckered into what has happened to me and my fiance. Now I am not sure about all owners but I advise everyone DON'T even think about moving into any condo being rented out by ***** ****** from ***** ***** *****. First off I found this place on line and it was listed as an 800 sq ft 1 bdrm with den, when I got there that wasn't the case, but since it was upgraded so nicely I didn't mind not having the den. They very up front before I went to look at it and told me that they hadn't had a chance to get maintenance in to clean it yet, but they would do so to my standards before we decided to move in. Little did I know...the day before I went to take the remainder of my deposit and the first months rent, totaling over $1,000.00 the place was even worse then it hade been before. The previous tennant had a bird, there were bird seeds on the carpet, it had obviously not been cleaned properly, Bird feces on the blinds, black smudges on the walls (which had supposedly been painted two days prior), the base boards were scuffed with black (never touched by a cleaner), the walls that had "been" painted were flat base paint, instead of painting the walls like they were supposed to they had taken a wet rag and wiped all the walls so that the paint was wiped off and smudged everywhere. The so called maintenance crew even missed greasy finger prints on the front of the microwave. To add more to this list, there was a crack in the wall from where furniture had bumped it and it hadn't been fixed, and the sink was filled with a substance that looked like vomit, and the garbage disposal was broken, when it turned on it stunk up the whole unit. When I informed the staff that the maintenance crew did a poor job the realtor told me that she would personally take care of the issue herself when she returned from out of town. I went back on the day I was supposed to finalize everything and it looked the same, so i took pictures of everything. When I called and told them that I would no longer be moving in due to the present conditions of the place and would like my deposit back they told me that it was non-refundable because the apartment was clean and in move in condition. They called me a liar and told me that I was ok to move in on friday but I drug my feet, when the leasing agent I was dealing with went out of town that friday and did not return for two days. They said the apartment was clean and we were making it up, but i have pictures to prove everything. I will be taking legal actions with the realtors as well as the owners. I will take them to court under principle. I advise anyone who reads this to RUN in the other direction and really consider giving someone your hard earned money before you make the same mistakes that I have. PLEASE do NOT give these people anymore business, they stole my money. No lease was signed!!!! Beware of people like this!!!!

Could use friendly management

This community has potential, but it is way over priced for what it is offered. The best it's got to offer are some of the exterior grounds and the fitness facility, but the management there seems to lack people skills.

Not Apartments

Carmel by the Lake Condominiums are not apartments. They are condominiums. should not be listed as apartments, no rental office on site.

Apartment rentals are at an all time high. With the high costs of purchasing a new home many people live in an apartment temporarily while they save for a new home. Some apartment listing guides charge for information, be we've compiled a hefty list of apartments in every city and state. Renting an apartment is as easy as finding several in your area, visiting each to decide if the right facilities are available and contacting each one to find out monthly rental information.
